Cheesesteak Pasta


Ingredients


  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1 sweet onion, thinly sliced

  • 14 oz shaved steak

  • 1 tbsp garlic paste (or to taste)

  • 1 tsp steak seasoning

  • 1 tsp adobo seasoning

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp Sazon Complete seasoning

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 8 oz shredded Parmesan cheese

  • 1 lb penne pasta (or pasta of choice)

  • 4 oz shredded Colby Jack cheese or Provolone

  • 4 oz shredded Monterey Jack cheese



Directions


  1. Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet, cook the sliced bell peppers and onions over medium heat until softened and fragrant. This brings out their natural sweetness and forms a flavorful base.

  2. Cook the Steak: Add the shaved steak to the skillet along with garlic paste, steak seasoning, adobo, black pepper, and Sazon Complete. Cook until the steak is browned and thoroughly cooked, then remove from heat and set aside.

  3. Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add garlic paste, beef broth, and heavy cream; stir well to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.

  4. Incorporate Cheese: Stir in Parmesan cheese (and additional seasoning if desired) until melted and smooth, creating a luscious sauce.

  5. Cook the Pasta: Meanwhile, cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and add to the skillet with the sauce, mixing well to coat.

  6. Combine Everything: Fold the cooked steak, peppers, and onions into the pasta and sauce until evenly distributed. Sprinkle shredded Colby Jack and Monterey Jack cheeses on top and stir until melted and gooey.
